Little Keys to the Universe (“we,” “us,” or “the site”) publishes free bedtime stories, songs, and guides for children and their families. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit lkuniverse.com, how it is used, and the choices you have.

You can read, listen to, and browse almost everything on the site without giving us any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, mailing addresses, or payment details.
Email signups. If you choose to unlock a storybook or join our newsletter, we collect the email address you enter — along with a note of which story or language you signed up through, so we can send you the right thing. We use a double opt-in, meaning you confirm by email before anything is sent, and you can unsubscribe from any email with one click, at any time.
Like most websites, our hosting, storage, and analytics providers automatically receive standard technical information — such as your browser type, device, approximate region, and the pages you visit — to keep the site working and understand what content is helpful. If you email us, we receive what you include in that message and use it only to reply.
We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to store signups and send email. When you enter your email on the site, it is passed to Kit, which delivers your storybook and any occasional emails from Little Keys to the Universe. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and a postal mailing address, as required by anti-spam laws such as Canada’s CASL and the US CAN-SPAM Act. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to remember simple preferences (such as light or dark mode) and, through the third-party services below, to measure traffic and — where enabled — to show advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.

We may display advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Some pages link to books on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn a small commission from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. These links never change the price you pay, and a book being listed does not mean its author is connected to Little Keys.
We keep the site small and use a handful of trusted providers: Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (file storage and delivery), Google Analytics (traffic measurement), Google AdSense (advertising), and Kit (email). Each processes only what it needs to provide its service.
Our stories are made for children to enjoy, but the site itself is intended to be browsed by parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can control cookies through your browser, opt out of personalized ads and analytics using the links above, and email us to ask what information we may hold about you or to request its deletion.
